Hello, my name is Simon, and I’ve been working with technology since elementary school. I’ve always had a deep interest in electronics and how the world around me works.
From 1995 to 2000, I worked at a small photo shop, operating the photo printer in the back, when an unexpected staff shortage led to me being assigned to help at the counter and take on a customer-facing role.

“You’re going to sell binoculars!”

I quickly realized that I wasn't very good at selling, so I asked my manager for advice. He said, “Don't try to sell; just show them what you know.” And that's what I did.

It quickly became clear that I was the one who would translate the language of technology into the language of people.

The world of technology is simple and straightforward—machines don't lie—but what I enjoy most about my work is helping people run their businesses in a technically smart and sustainable way.

Fast forward to today: Open Minded is celebrating its 10th anniversary! We now have a whole team of like-minded individuals.
